Japanese tea manufacturers have begun to experiment with the production of non green tea variations for example this beautiful Wakocha black tea. These manufacturers attempt to create a uniquely Japanese black tea with green tea cultivar a product that is distinctive of Japan’s unique terroir. The use of green tea cultivars for the production of black tea provides the tea with a unique more outspoen aroma. Only a very limited quanity of this tea is manufacutred each year.
