Japanese Food Festival 2025 — For the First Time in Zürich

The Japanese Food Festival used to be at home in Zug — until it simply outgrew the venue. In 2025, for the first time, it moved to Zürich Oerlikon, with much more space and, fittingly, many more visitors. The interest in Japanese food culture and tradition here in Switzerland genuinely overwhelmed us. Long queues, curious conversations, people tasting various Japanese Tea for the very first time, and others arriving with surprisingly precise questions about Gyokuro or Sencha — the full spectrum. Especially meaningful: I was there with my two brothers. Pouring tea together, telling the stories behind each leaf, meeting people who love the same things — that's exactly why we founded VestaTea. A wonderfully organised event. We are grateful to have been part of it — and already looking forward to 2026.
