This Shincha tea is shade grown for seven days prior to harvest to enhance the flavor and health benefits. Shincha or ichibancha "the first picked tea" is well balanced and wholesome tasting with a lovely aftertaste. Our Premium Shincha Tea is grown in Kagoshima Prefecture, this is an artisan spring Shincha tea which we deem exceptional. Shincha is the first-picked tea in the year and only harvested once a year which results the taste of the freshness and quality.
