Born from tea trees over 100 years old, this exceptional Zhengshan Xiaozhong comes from the remote mountain village of Masu, hidden deep within Tongmu Guan in the Wuyishan Nature Reserve. At an altitude of around 1,300 meters, ancient Cai Cha tea bushes grow slowly among mist-covered forests, bamboo groves, and mineral-rich rocky soils – shaped by cold mountain winds, pure air, and the passing of time. These century-old bushes develop naturally under challenging conditions, creating a tea of remarkable depth, purity, and character. Crafted from mature leaves of ancient trees, this rare black tea represents the heritage of one of China’s most historic tea regions – the birthplace of Zhengshan Xiaozhong, known worldwide as Lapsang Souchong.
