This exceptional Anji Bai Cha represents a higher selection of the celebrated Bai Ye No.1 cultivar, meticulously handpicked in early spring in the mountains of Anji County, Zhejiang Province. Harvested during the cultivar’s brief seasonal whitening phase, only the most tender leaves are selected to create a tea of extraordinary softness, purity and depth. The careful plucking standard and superior material result in a more refined aromatic complexity, greater sweetness and an exceptionally smooth texture. The cup reveals elegant layers of fresh orchids, sweet cream, young chestnut and delicate umami, supported by a luminous jade-green liquor with almost no astringency. Compared to standard Anji Bai Cha, this reserve selection offers greater clarity, a silkier mouthfeel and a longer, more sophisticated finish.
