Description

This exceptional Taiwanese Oolong was honored with the prestigious Nantou City Farmer Association Excellence Award — a recognition of outstanding craftsmanship and quality. Crafted from the rare Taicha No. 20 cultivar, also known as Ying Xiang (“Welcoming Fragrance”), this tea is celebrated for expressing the elegance and depth of high mountain tea even when grown at lower elevations. Carefully produced in the renowned Baguashan region of Taiwan, the tea was traditionally charcoal roasted three times over the course of three weeks. This patient roasting process deepens its naturally sweet character while creating a beautifully layered and comforting aroma profile. The tightly rolled leaves release an inviting fragrance of brown sugar and warm caramelized sweetness. Once infused, the liquor shines in a deep golden amber color with rich aromas of brown sugar, cream, roasted hazelnuts, and gentle toasted notes. On the palate, the tea is remarkably smooth and full-bodied, offering flavors reminiscent of crème brûlée, roasted nuts, and sweet cream, balanced by a refreshing cooling sensation that subtly recalls mint. With each infusion, the tea develops increasing sweetness alongside delicate hints of dried fruit peel. Its warming and grounding cha qi creates a comforting sensation throughout the body, making this tea both deeply satisfying and wonderfully relaxing. A luxurious roasted Oolong that beautifully combines sweetness, elegance, and traditional Taiwanese craftsmanship. The tea has passed the pesticide residual inspection by SGS Company
